Coit Tower is a well-known Attraction that offers lovely views of the City. A visit to this oft-photographed Attraction is a popular San Francisco Activity.
About Visiting Coit Tower:
Coit Tower is tough to miss. The white concrete structure rises up from the top of Telegraph Hill, and it is one of the City’s most recognizable Attractions. Visiting Coit Tower is a popular San Francisco Activity, and many of Hotel Diva’s guests visit the Tower to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Coit Tower was built in 1933 in honor of Lillian Hitchcock Coit. Coit wanted the money that she left to help beautify the City she loved so much, and to that end the interior of the Tower is lined with beautiful murals.
Visitors are free to explore Coit Tower on their own or enjoy a guided docent tour. For many, a highlight of this San Francisco Activity is the opportunity to enjoy sweeping views. The Tower’s observation deck is near the top of the 210-foot structure. Visitors who take the elevator to the observation deck will be treated to gorgeous views of the city skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Hotel Diva is ideally located near this and other top Attractions and San Francisco Activities. Our Hotel is near public transportation, so even if you don’t want to drive, you will be able to easily reach much of the best that our beautiful City has to offer.
